We are sticking with the 1930 (1920 carry-on) theme for dolls and molls. This time we are going to look a little closer at the original party girl, the Flapper. These girls often went to dance and jazz clubs where drinking and partying were commonplace. They liked to have fun with men and generally stand out in the crowd with as much glamour as possible. They were an integral part of dances such as the charleston and the shimmy and their playfulness and fashion styling was adopted welcomingly into the cinema world.
